Enclavia Net - will gather local NGOs from Kosovo Serb community which will develop local projects adapted for needs of their respective region and community. Activities will be in same direction, with same overall objective as Enclavia project. We are targeting 4 regions (Gnjilane, Pristina, Strpce and Pec) activities will be as following:
Debates: will be organized in different regions of Kosovo with different topics with aim to increase awareness of importance for participation in social processes in Kosovo in order to improve living conditions of Kosovo Serb community and address needs and concerns they have.
Trainings: will target the most active and interested participants of debates, as well as those who are willing to give constructive contribution in representation of community needs during lobby visits. The main topic of training was lobbying and self-advocacy.
Lobby visiting: Lobby visits are organized to local and international institutions in Pristina and Belgrade in October. The aim of lobby visits is presentation of needs and concerns of Kosovo Serb community, the topics for lobbying are defined throughout course of program activities. The lobby group is formed by the most active participants of entire program.
Aim of this initiative is to support Enclavia project in the field and build capacities of local Serbian NGO sector in Kosovo from one side and from other side will bring one opportunity more for communication between institutions in Pristina and Belgrade and Serbian community from Kosovo. NGO Fractal already helps NGO Bozur from Babin Most to develop and implement one project according to above mention scenario in region of Pristina project was “Democratic Participation of Serbian Communities in Kosovo”.
In the framework of this initiative Fractal will:
Publish leaflet with information on and explanations what is EnclaviaNet
Organize meeting with local NGOs and meet them with idea
Give logistic support to local NGOs in developing, creating and fundraising for project
Visual identity of the Enclavia net will be created by using Enclavia logo (DNA chain in formation, see Enclavia logo) with combination of different background colors for each respective region. Such regional differences in colors with same graphic design of the logo itself will create needed visibility of the network.
Our common conclusion, which was defined after three years of the process which included numerous meetings and discussions with Kosovo Serb community representatives, as well with different stakeholders at social, political, diplomatic and business levels is: It is necessary to invest efforts, attention and resources in strategic development of political, social, cultural, infrastructural and economic capacities of community, in order to expect an proactive role of respective community, and their functional and effective integration and fulfillment of increased responsibilities, rights and competencies which arise from decentralization. |
